You could get the same effect anchoring a little off-shore, while getting the same signal on-shore. AND I've had situations when camping where I put a portable on a picnic table, and people camping next to me did the same thing tuned to the same frequency, and it was seamless music walking from campsite to campsite. It sounded great, was rechargeable, water resitant and was loud enough for outdoor parties/gatherings/etc. It was made by Bacini Acoustica and had all the qualities I look for in a portable speaker.
